The Division of Adult and Career Education is offering a free four-week online summer session from July 6th – July 31st for adult learners 18 years and older. Programs include a Family Success Initiative class “Helping Your Child Learn Online” which will be taught in both English and Spanish. They are also offering Computer Essentials which covers Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom. Students who complete the Computer Essentials class will earn a Google Digital Literacy Certificate. Please click on the Title above to access the flyers for more information.

We are currently NOT offering additional math exams for the Highly Accelerated Math 6 pathway. If you are interested in putting your child's name on the list, IN CASE we offer a third test, please fill out the form. Click on the title to access the form.

IMPORTANT: Please log into your Parent Portal to download your child's current 5th grade progress report and their 4th grade 2018-2019 Smarter Balanced Assessment math score. This is the minimum the District requires for placement; the exam is our third item to assess their current math ability. Email the two documents to Ms. Chau Cao at [email protected]. Your child will be placed in the appropriate math class based on those two items.

Qualifications: Your incoming 6th grader earned 4's in math and Met/Exceeded Standards on Smarter Balanced Assessment, he/she may qualify to enroll in the Highly Accelerated Common Core Math 6/7 course.
